My Experience
I began my study of how people use technology in 1997 while writing technical procedures and illustrations for microchip manufacturing. My interactive documentation evolved into designing digital control systems, menu systems, and websites. Websites were my bread and butter for many years, but the jobs consistently allowed me to explore user research techniques, emergent UI technologies, and gain a master's certification in Interaction Design and UX Management. My time at Capital Metro provided me with unique UX testing opportunities and team building skills, and my consultancy with Catapult/Quisitive gave me experience with dozens of different types of clients and industries.
